a couple of humorous things from yesterday evening

Mary and i went for dinner last night. One of our favorite restaurant sends out discount coupons for birthdays. being it’s Mary’s birthday, we took advantage of the discount.

kitty-corner to us were 2-15 month twins, one boy and one girl. they were both cute, comedians and hams. the girl at 15 months somehow has the perfect parade wave, elbow-elbow-wrist-wrist.

at one point the world came crashing it to an end for the little girl. and what does a little girl display this? crying uncontrollably with vim and vigor. nothing mom could do would calm the girl. she appeared to be inconsolable.

mom scooped up a forkful of food and moved it toward the baby’s mouth and the mouth instinctively began to open. the bite of food reached the little girl’s lip and then, all of the sudden, the little girl began to violently shaking her head side to side.

with that, the crying stopped instantaneously! mom returned the forkful to the baby’s plate and return her interest to her plate. to top it off, seconds later, the little girls pick up the bite of food with her hand, raised it to her mouth and ate it! funny!

on the way out, i was looking over the table of business cards where the restaurant allows local businesses to leave cards for a little free advertising. as i pursued the cards, i noticed an immigration lawyer. gee, i bet he faces some uncertainty for at least the next little while.

that’s all for now.

About bipolarsojourner

i have struggled with episodic depression for years. i then received a diagnosis of being bipolar, only to find out i didn’t. ends up my psychiatrist really meant to say that multiple bouts of depression are often best treated like bipolar. i had already started this blog as bipolar sojourner and didn't want to switch it over. i am documenting my journeys through my depression jungle.
